Which is better? Google Maps or Waze?

Meanwhile, wondering which navigation app is ideal for use on Malaysian roadways? It is hard to choose between the two apps because they are very similar. Overall, the two apps only serve one purpose: to get you to your destination in the shortest time while remaining safe.

You can record your own voice, your friend’s or even celebrities! It is unquestionably more engaging than the default voice. Besides, you can change the vehicle icons on the screen to a helicopter, motorbike, meow mobile, fire truck, or the boring default blue arrow. Google Maps allows you to switch the voice to a different language or region. You may modify the vehicle icons, although there are only three icons to choose from. And, that’s all about it. Although Waze has an offline mode, it does not provide real-time traffic updates. Theoretically, Waze needs an internet connection in order to sync data from drivers and pedestrians. For the offline feature, the winner goes to Google Maps.
